an uncovering of the deliberate kind in North Carlton

The other day I was driving along Pigdon Street, North Carlton, and saw that an uncovering (i.e. stripping of paint) was underway at the old milk bar I had previously taken The Age reporter and photographer to (see: http://www.theage.com.au/photogallery/national/ghost-signs-20130309-2ft00.html). Seems that the new owners are keen to uncover its past lives - and in the process found part of a Bushells Tea sign as well as others:
